Youve gone to an orthodontist to get braces. Youre nervous to get braces, but youve been meaning to get them for a while. Your orthodontist is friendly, dressed in a Howie lab coat, face mask, and gloves, and she assures you that the procedure will go flawlessly. "This is all standard procedure," she tells you before opening up your mouth with a stainless steel dental gag and giving you laughing gas. You pass out in the dental chair and wake up as shes putting the finishing touches on you. You have braces on your teeth, yes...but theyve been modified to lock your jaw together.
